The RISE Excellence Framework
Six pillars. One standard of excellence.
The RISE Excellence Framework is the shared language of institutional quality we are building for Islamic education in North America — measurable, faith-rooted, and globally credible.
Curriculum & Tarbiyah
Integrated Islamic and academic curriculum benchmarked to North American standards while rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Teacher Excellence
Certification pathways, mentorship cohorts, and continuous professional development for every educator.
Governance & Accountability
Boards, policies, child-safety protocols, and financial controls that meet or exceed nonprofit best practice.
Technology & Operations
The Muallim platform — student information, attendance, hifz tracking, parent portals, and finance in one.
Outcomes & Data
Standardized assessments, hifz progress, character development, and college/career readiness — measured, reported, improved.
Facilities & Sustainability
Master planning, capital strategy, and waqf-backed endowments that secure institutions for generations.
Accreditation Pathway
From assessment to recognition.
Institutions progress through three recognition tiers — Aspiring, Accredited, and Exemplary — each marking measurable advancement across the six pillars. Every tier opens new doors to grants, partnerships, and donor confidence.
Aspiring
Committed to the framework. Engaged in the roadmap.
Accredited
Meeting the framework. Operating at recognized standard.
Exemplary
Exceeding the framework. Mentoring peer institutions.
Bring the framework to your institution.

How the RISE Excellence Framework works — pillars, accreditation tiers, and what counts toward each level.
Talk to our teamA six-pillar standard — Curriculum, Pedagogy, Leadership, Operations, Technology, and Community — paired with a three-tier accreditation pathway: Recognized, Accredited, and Distinguished.
Recognized status can be earned in under 12 months. Full Accreditation typically takes 18–24 months. Distinguished status is awarded after sustained excellence across multiple review cycles.
No. Many partners begin with capacity building and pursue accreditation later. The framework is a roadmap, not a gate.
An independent council of educators, scholars, and operators. Reviews combine self-study, on-site visits, and student-outcome data — never a single inspector's opinion.
